I met Chris and Elaine for the first time when I was 8 years old at AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI. They had a static display of one of the jet cars and I was fascinated. I remember telling both, Chris and Elaine, and my parent that one day I would work on that car.
Fast forward to move in day my first year of college and dropping everything when Elaine called and said that they were going to fire up the car. I was lucky enough to work with the team for all 4 years of college and go to multiple shows (I liked the Daytona 500 event the most) and a few races. I also got to help set up the new shop at the FIT Technology Center and it has been amazing seeing how much the team has grown since my time.
